About the Part-Time/Freelancer program

The gig economy, remote work and distributed workforce are here to stay. The Company fully embraces this change.

We work with the Filipino tech community—designers, writers, developers of any background, age and gender all over the archipelago—and give them remote work projects coupled with company benefits usually only found in big cities like Manila and Cebu. We envision a company that prioritizes people over profits, output before hours, where flex beats desks. You’re in control. Work when you want, where you want, commit to projects that suit you best. Take vacations anytime for as long as you want. You choose your schedule. It’s how work should be done.

FAQ

What kind of projects are available?

Most of the projects that you’ll be working on are related to graphic design, web design, web development and copywriting for real estate websites, e-commerce sites and business websites for other industries. Other types of projects may be assigned from time to time.

Will I be working directly with clients?

Once a project is awarded to you, a project brief will be sent and access to Slack and Basecamp will be made available. You will be reporting to the project manager who created the task, and he/she will oversee the to-dos that were assigned to you.

How and when do I get paid?

A Security Bank account and debit Mastercard will be issued to all approved freelancers. The Company will deposit all payments to this account. You will typically be paid once your project has been tagged as completed/approved by the client. In some rare cases, you may be paid 50% on any of the projects if the delay is coming from the clients’ end.

Will I have a fixed schedule?

A deadline will be defined for each task/project. As long as you always submit quality work within the agreed upon deadline, you will remain in good standing.

The Company’s project distribution structure gives you freedom. Pick your choice of short-term projects one at a time. There are no imposed quotas so you can work based on your schedule and capacity. Work 5 days a week, late nights, or just weekends. It’s up to you.

What kind of benefits do you have?

The Company offers exclusive tiered benefits under its Freelancer leveling program such as health perks, life insurance, personal Mastercard debit card, personalized email address, and options for computer ownership. Read more on our FAQ page.

How do I become eligible for the Freelancer benefits?

Everytime you complete a project successfully, you will be rated for your work quality. The more work you do, the higher you climb up our leveling program. The benefits that will be given to you will depend on what level you’re on.
